Development of data platform Paskal Drainvision

The Paskal Group supplies products for the improvement of plant production in greenhouses.

Project key: cloud data platform, sensor monitoring, internet of things, radio units

The DrainVision product monitors in real-time the root environment of a plant group being cultivated on substrate such as mineral wool. A special weighing gulley continually measures the weight of the plants, the irrigation, drainage and EC. The sensors are connected to a Remote Terminal Unit that is connected via radio communication and a base station with an M2M-link to a cloud platform. The cloud platform was developed by HvA Technologies. If the current value strays outside of the set range, the user is notified by means of a real-time message.
